Your Instructor

My journey into Clinical Pilates started with my struggle with chronic pain. As a young gal, I was passionate about running, netball and soccer, but constant aches and pains clouded my enjoyment. Advice to stop all exercise was disheartening, leading me to explore strength and mobility training independently. This exploration changed my life—I felt the best, strongest and most pain free I had in years.

In my late twenties, I discovered Pilates and instantly fell in love with its unique approach. Pilates wasn’t just about physical exercise; it was a practice that connected my mind and body, fostering a deeper awareness and resilience.

Today, I am dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with chronic pain, with conditions like osteoarthritis and those in fear of moving incorrectly. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients reclaim their lives and start doing the things they love pain free and with confidence!

The Essence of Zoo Pilates…

Zoo Pilates is named after my dog Ziggy, AKA Ziggy Zoo Zoo. She’s helped me through the ups and downs of life. The Elephant in our logo symbolises strength and power, both qualities I want clients to feel during and after our sessions and beyond!

Our studio is a calm and supportive space where mental health is just as important as physical health. Having personally navigated mental health challenges, I understand the connection between a strong body and a resilient mind. My goal is to foster both in my clients, helping them build a foundation of strength and well-being to move through their lives.
